Flag Raising Request Form
Organizations requesting their Flag(s) be raised at Township facilities are required to complete the Community Flag Pole Application form.
The organization is responsible for delivering the Flag(s) to the Township of Norwich Operations Centre Building at least one week prior to the flying of the Flag and to claim their Flag(s) at the Township of Norwich Operations Centre Building following the approved timeframe.
Per Resolution #17 passed at the Regular Meeting of Council on January 9, 2024, the following flags are preapproved under the Flag Protocol:
- The Netherlands Flag
- United Empire Loyalists Flag
- Truth and Reconciliation Day Flag
- United Nations Flag
- Pride Flag
- Remembrance Day Flag~Lest We Forget
- Service Clubs flags
- Minor sports organizations (including the Norwich Merchants) flags
- Every Child Matters Flag
- Black History Month Flag
