Dog Licencing - Docupet

As of September 2021, the Township of Norwich has partnered with DocuPet to offer pet licensing services in the municipality. DocuPet is a world-leading pet profile, lost pet, and licensing platform. Pet owners are now able to license pets through a simple online process at norwich.docupet.com

You may also license in person at the Township of Norwich or by calling DocuPet at 1-855-249-1370.

Pet licences are important as they serve as a critical method of identifying dogs in the Township of Norwich. Pets wearing valid licence tags spend little to no time at local shelters, reserving that valuable space for the animals that truly need it.

In addition to a contactless licence application and delivery, DocuPet offers a free 24/7 HomeSafe™ lost pet service included with each licence and the option to upgrade to a colorful designer tag that doubles as the pet’s official licence.

The unique identification number on the reverse of your pet’s DocuPet licence tag is linked to an online pet profile that can be accessed by Township staff, where your contact information and details about your pet can be looked up in the event that they get loose.

We are excited to offer residents this simplified and improved process for pet licensing.

Visit norwich.docupet.com for more information, or contact DocuPet by phone at 1-855-249-1370, or email at info@docupet.com
