Oxford Centre Hall

The Oxford Centre Hall is a recently renovated and climate-controlled community hall that can accommodate up to 175 people.

It is an open-concept facility that is available for wedding receptions, family reunions, anniversaries, meetings, parties and community events.

Included in the rental are:

  • Chairs: black molded plastic
  • Tables: rectangular 72”x30” (seat 6)
  • Full catering kitchen, with dishwasher.

FAQ

Yes, you must fill apply to the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) for a special occasions permit. You can either visit the LCBO outlet in Norwich for a copy of the application, or you can download at  https://www.agco.ca/sites/default/files/1575e_sop_guide.pdf

You must provide a copy of the permit to the Norwich Community Centre prior to your function. If a copy is not provided we reserve the right to cancel the bar for your rental.

The hall is 38’ x 58’.

The Lessee must provide their own Valid Smart Serve trained bartenders for their function – we no longer have bartenders on staff

A final balance of the rental is due at the time of key pick up.

 At any time on the day of your rental.

If the hall is available the night before, you may use the hall. If you want to be sure to have the hall set up, you must reserve the hall and pay a set-up day fee. The set-up fee changes yearly, please refer to our user-fee by-law

Yes, the hall has a full catering kitchen, with dishwasher.

Chairs: Our tables are 72”x 30”.

Oxford Centre Hall can hold 175 persons.

  • Chairs: grey molded plastic
  • Limited # of small tables: 72 ”x 30” (seat 6)
  • Stage/Riser: 8’ x 16’ (128 sq’ ft) – can be made into four separate 4’ x 8’ stages/risers

 

  • Tables are to be cleared at the end of the evening.
  • The kitchen and hall should be left as you found them.
  • Everything must be out of the hall by 2:00 a.m. unless other arrangements have been made prior to your event.

Please make your caterers and decorators aware of these expectations.
