Committee of Adjustment

The Committee of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial body, which must comply with rules of procedure as prescribed in the Planning Act and several regulations thereunder. Members of Council are appointed to sit as members of this committee which hold regular public meetings (as required) to consider applications for minor variances.

A minor variance is the relief from the terms of the Township of Norwich Zoning By-law 07-2003-Z, where a proposed use or structure does not comply.

Residents in the area can resume regular water use. After a boil water advisory has ended, Public Health advises residents to run water taps for 5 minutes before using the water.
