Our Township

Norwich Township is located within the County of Oxford in the heart of Southwestern Ontario, with beautiful countryside, villages and productive farmland.

The crossroads of Highways 401 and 403 are on the north border of the Township, allowing easy accessibility to all of Southwestern Ontario. 

A drive through the countryside will delight, with the beautiful farmlands, our Amish community, the Otterville Mill, Grand Trunk Railway Station Museum, Norwich & District Museum, fresh farm stands and unique local boutiques.

Weight Load Restrictions Now in Effect

Township Road Load restrictions are in effect starting March 2, 2026. The Reduced Load Period designation may run to April 30, 2026, but may be lifted before that date if weather conditions allow. 

The Load Restrictions Notice can be viewed on the Roads Section of the Township Website.

Pre-Construction Notice: Brock Street West Reconstruction, Public Information Centre, April 2, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.

The Township is hosting a Public Information Centre to provide an update on the project and share information on construction. We encourage you to join the drop-in style meeting to view construction plans, discuss impacts to your property and learn more about the project.
