The Township of Norwich has a population of 10, 478 and is located within the County of Oxford in the heart of Southwestern Ontario, with beautiful countryside, villages and productive farmland.

The crossroads of Highways 401 and 403 are on the north border of the Township, allowing easy accessibility to all of Southwestern Ontario

Rural Oxford Economic Development Corporation (ROEDC)

In September 2014, the ROEDC was formed as a non-profit organization to undertake the development and support of economic growth and sustainability in the rural townships of Oxford County.  The ROEDC is governed by a volunteer board of ten (10) directors. Canadian Index of Wellbeing Survey

Oxford County and Safe and Well Oxford are sponsoring the Canadian Index of Wellbeing Survey to support the higher possible quality of life for Oxford County residents. 

The Canadian Index of Wellbeing Survey in Oxford County opens May 1, 2025, inviting every Oxford resident over the age of 16 to take part to help shape a better future for Oxford. To request a paper copy, call 1-800-755-0394. The survey closes June 15, 2025.

By taking part voluntarily, residents have a changes to win one of 10 $100 gift certificates for a local business.
