Building and Demolition Permits Review and approval of construction and demolition projects to confirm compliance with the Ontario Building Code, zoning by-laws, and other applicable laws, supported by inspections throughout the project. |

Evaluation of proposals to change how a building or part of a building is used to ensure that the new use meets current Building Code and safety requirements. |

Investigation of complaints and enforcement of Building Code and by-law violations to maintain safety and compliance across the community. |

Assignment and maintenance of municipal addresses to ensure accurate identification of properties for emergency response, service delivery, and navigation. |
