Media Release - Downtown Parking Study Public Consultation
The Township of Norwich would like to invite members of the community to attend a Parking Study Public Information Centre (PIC) on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Norwich Community Centre. There will be a brief presentation at 6 p.m. to introduce the study, process and timeline, and share preliminary results from the data collection, before an opportunity for community members to provide input and ask questions.
The purpose of the Parking Study is to undertake a comprehensive review of the Township’s current parking inventory in downtown Norwich, identify parking trends and develop a plan to ensure that inventory is managed appropriately to meet stakeholder needs. The study will assess the nature and extent of parking needs in the downtown area for on-street locations and public and private lots and identify actions to improve conditions.
An online survey is available at www.surveymonkey.com/r/NorwichParking for those who cannot attend the PIC. Paper surveys are available at the Township office.
