Volunteers Needed: Committee Members 2023
Interested community members must be residents or property owners within the Township of Norwich. Appointments will be made by resolution of Council for a term concurrent with the appointing Council.
Exception: Canada Day Committee will be appointed annually based on the host village location.
Application Form
Norwich Business Improvement Association Board (BIA)
(requires 2 members)
To oversee the improvement, beautification and maintenance of lands, buildings
and structure in the designated BIA district.
Members shall be owners or tenants within the designated area.
2024 Canada Day Committee
(maximum 12 members)
To act as facilitator and fundraise for the annual Canada Day festivities.
The 2024 events will be held in the Village of Otterville.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee
(requires 5 – 8 members)
To advise and make recommendations to Township Council, and to review policies
to help ensure that the Township Council applies a diversity, equity and inclusion lens
to its policies, services, programs and practices, as outlined in the Terms of Reference.
Police Service Board
(requires 1 member)
To determine objectives and priorities, establish policies, receive regular reports,
establish guidelines for dealing with complaints and review complaint administration.
Municipal Heritage Committee
(requires up to 4 members)
To advise and assist Council on matters relating to the Ontario Heritage Act.
