Update from the Township of Norwich on COVID-19 Response

As part of our ongoing efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19, and in keeping with the Province of Ontario’s Declaration of an Emergency, the Township of Norwich has made the decision that effective Thursday March 19th at 4:30 p.m. the Township Municipal Offices will be closed to walk-in visitors until further notice.Services will continue to be offered over the phone, via email, and on-line (www.norwich.ca). Individuals who need to meet with staff will need to contact staff to discuss arrangements to meet either electronically or in person after a screening process.

As earlier announced, all Township public recreation facilities (arena and community centres) remain closed at this time, in concert with provincial restrictions on large gatherings

External services such as Fire and Building Inspections will continue on a modified basis at this time, subject to a screening process also. Please refer to the following documents for service delivery information:
