Township of Norwich
Historical. Agricultural. Beautiful.
The foremost priority for the Township of Norwich is the health and safety of our residents and staff. In concert with recent developments on the provincial restrictions on large gatherings, the Township will be closing all public recreation facilities (arena and community centres) effective immediately. As a result, all scheduled events at these facilities are suspended indefinitely.
Regular operations and services at remaining municipal facilities (Municipal Administration building, Public Works facilities, Norwich Medical Centre) will remain open to the public.
The Township does ask residents to remain vigilant in self-monitoring for any signs of COVID-19 infection or other respiratory illness. If you exhibit any symptoms of an acute respiratory infection, please avoid all non-essential attendance in public spaces and facilities. All residents are encouraged to take appropriate precautions follow public health guidelines regarding proper hand hygiene and infection control practices.
For up-to-date information regarding the COVID-19 virus, please visit the Southwestern Public Health website at:
The Township of Norwich will continue to monitor the situation as it develops and issue updates as additional information becomes available.
